DESIGNER NAME PLATE

DESIGNER NAME PLATE

Name plates / Door Plates are primarily for placement on the door or cabin. Presenting before you an artistic fusion of wood and Cone/Mural work that gives class and grandeur to an ordinary nameplate.

Looking at the plain wooden planks an art attack stuck and here's the outcome-

This name plate is hand crafted using MDF wooden board plank, primer, enamel paints, varnish, 3D Cones and an unique calligraphic design in mind.

Check out the different stages of the designer name plate............

1st Stage...............

A plain MDF wooden plank is best suited for this purpose. MDF doesn't tilt and bend even after long years of usage.

2nd Stage..................

Paint the wooden plank with one smooth coat of primer. Apply two coats of enamel paint. You can also make it double toned using two shades of enamel paints instead of one. Wait to dry for 2-3 days. Apply a final coat of plain varnish. You can also add some golden colour to the varnish to give a glossy look.

3rd and Final Stage......................

Use the 3 D cones with your choice of calligraphic font to complete the name plate to display your name...... I have also drawn Lord Ganesha in "OMM" style in the beginning of my name plate. This is considered auspicious in India.

Hope you all like this new style of displaying your name. You can use such name plates for home or in office if you prefer to use lighter shades.

Awaiting your valuable comments, feedback and questions..

Hi Sneha, this is Nimish from Engrave. We make and retail door and apartment nameplates at http://engrave.in/products/name-plates. We've received a few requests for painted nameplates with intricate cone work design in the past. Would love to connect with you and see if you'd be interested in collaborating on such projects.
